Not everyone can record live, for example if you’re on the court yourself. For that case you enter the totals per player after the game. Everything here is free.
Ending a game
In the game, open the “…” menu at the top right → End
game.
Enter the final score (home : away) and tap End. Without a
final score the app asks once more; you can add it later via Edit.
The game is then sealed: live recording is locked, so an accidental
tap in your pocket can’t change the numbers. Editing, changing the squad and entering
totals still work. You can Unseal the game at any time from the same menu.
Entering totals
In the ended game, pick an action, e.g. Goals. For actions with
variants, also pick the variant, e.g. 7 metres · Goal.
Tap the player. A field opens with their total for
this action.
Tap the new total in the quick picks 0 to 15 or type it, then
Save.
You always enter the total, not what’s added: if it shows 3 goals and
you choose 5, two are added. Choose 2 and one is removed.
Going through one player completely:All values for one
player lists every action of a player, handy for checking against the official
score sheet.
Totals in open games too
If you always enter after the game, turn on Totals mode under
Settings → Recording (game view). Then a tap on a player enters the total even
in games that are still open, instead of counting up by 1.
What happens with entered totals
They count everywhere: match report, season analysis, home screen
and myPI treat them like live-recorded actions.
Live-recorded details are protected. When you lower a number, the
app first removes entries without extra details. Goals recorded live with a
goal zone or shot position stay for the heatmaps.
No game minute: entered totals appear in the match log with an
empty time column.
Final score and goals are two things: the final score comes from
your entry, goals per player from the actions. The app doesn’t convert one into the
other.
Mixed approach: record live as well as you can and fill the gaps after
the game. That works because you always set the total.
