Everything you need to write about myHandballStats: a short description, the facts, the statistics desk on Instagram, downloadable logos and screenshots in this language.

In one paragraph

myHandballStats is an app that lets coaches, team staff and parents record handball stats live at the sideline – per player, with a tap. Goals, assists, saves, missed shots, 7-metre throws, penalties and technical faults instantly become figures for the match, the player and the whole season: match report, goal-zone heatmap, shot positions, season analysis and the myPerformance Index (myPI). Several devices can count together via Live Session, without internet. The data stays on the device, optionally in the user’s own iCloud; there is no account and no developer server.

In two sentences: myHandballStats records handball stats live at the sideline, per player and with a tap, and analyses them for the match and the season. Free for iPhone, iPad and Android, Premium as a one-time purchase – no subscription.

The statistics desk

Alongside the app, myHandballStats has run a statistics desk on Instagram since July 2026: at @myhandballstats, figures, rankings and context on top-level German handball are published several times a week – from the German Handball Bundesliga for men (HBL) and women (HBF), the DHB-Pokal and the European cup matches of the German teams. There are also posts on rules and tactics. The posts are published in German.

SeriesContent
Team der WocheOn Mondays, the best seven of the HBL matchday, nominated by our own myPerformance Index (#myPI)
Spiele der WocheAll results of the week in the HBL and HBF, with the Player of the Match
Zahl der WocheOn Tuesdays, a striking figure from the HBL or HBF, put into context
EuropapokalThe result of every match played by the German teams in the Champions League (men and women) and the men’s European League
DHB-PokalBefore each round, all pairings with throw-off times
Regeln und TaktikWeekly series on the rules of the game and tactical basics

Sources. The basis is official statistics: the HBL Statistics Center, the HBF match reports and, for the European competitions, the EHF (eurohandball.com). Every post names its source in the image and in the text. Anything that does not come from this data – historical records, for example – is backed by two independent sources. Our own calculations such as averages, rates or rankings follow a fixed, documented method; figures without a real basis are marked as examples.

Independence. The desk works without any commission from, or connection to, a league, federation or club. The graphics are our own design. If you would like to use figures or graphics, please get in touch briefly – source and method are available on request.

Logos

For coverage of the app: use them unchanged – do not distort, recolour or use them as part of your own mark. PNG with transparent background, 2048 pixels wide; the app icon 1024 × 1024. Please obtain the Apple and Google store badges directly from the providers – they are subject to their rules.

Logo and spelling. The logo shows a thrower in mid-jump above a coordinate cross, with the wordmark myHandballStats below. On a light background, both the orange and the black logo work; on a dark background only the orange one; on an orange or coloured background only the black one. The symbol without wordmark is meant for tight spaces. The name is written as one word, with a lowercase “my” and a capital H and S: myHandballStats – not “My Handball Stats” or “MyHandballStats”. In running text it appears as plain text, without a colour of its own.

Screenshots

The app’s screens in this language, captured on iPhone (620 × 1347 pixels, sample data). Tap or click an image to open it at full size. Higher resolutions, iPad screens or further screens are available on request.
